St. Louis – Weekend Getaway

If you’re planning a long weekend getaway, St. Louis is the perfect destination. From its iconic Gateway Arch to its vibrant city park, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights of my trip to St. Louis was visiting City Park. Located in the heart of the city, this sprawling green space is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon. I spent hours walking along the trails, watching the boats on the lake, and playing frisbee with friends.

Of course, no trip to St. Louis is complete without seeing the Gateway Arch. This iconic landmark is a must-see for any visitor to the city. I was awestruck by the sheer size of the arch, which stands at an impressive 630 feet tall.

After a day of sightseeing, it was time to indulge in some delicious St. Louis cuisine. I had heard great things about Zia’s Italian Restaurant on the Hill, and it did not disappoint. The short rib ravioli was the standout dish of the night – it was hands down the best dinner I’ve ever had.

In addition to its many outdoor attractions, St. Louis also has a thriving downtown scene. I spent an evening exploring the city’s bars and clubs, and was blown away by the live music and friendly locals.

Overall, St. Louis is a fantastic destination for a long weekend getaway. Whether you’re interested in outdoor adventures, cultural attractions, or delicious food, this city has something for everyone.
